Water-dispersible "core-shell type microparticles"
Core-corona structured granules with hydrophilic units arranged radially.
Core-corona type particles have a structure in which hydrophilic units are arranged radially from a core part made up of hydrophobic units. There are grades with corona parts of different ionicities, and they are stabilized in dispersion in water by the hydrophilic units on the particle surface. When core-corona type polymer microparticles are used as a binder for the anode of lithium-ion secondary batteries, they show a higher capacity retention rate and better rate characteristics compared to anodes using conventional binders. 【Features of Core-Corona Type Binders】 - Strong adhesion to the active material surface due to the functional group effects of the corona chains - Low electrode resistance - Does not swell in electrolyte - Enables the production of batteries capable of high-speed charge and discharge For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
